Siena Tuscan Steakhouse occupies the ground floor of the Ambassador Hotel in the historic Douglas Building downtown, and it has settled in as the Wichita restaurant for the milestone-birthday dinner where the meal is the event — the 50th, the round-number anniversary that doubles as a birthday, the dinner that needs to feel like an occasion. The dining room is dim, leather-booth, white-tablecloth Northern Italian, with a serious wine program and a steak-and-pasta menu that overlaps both Italian classics and a proper chophouse.
The private dining room seats 10 to 24 guests in a fully enclosed space, and the events team builds custom prix-fixe menus for the night — typically a salad course, a choice of entrées (steak, seafood, pasta), family-style sides, and dessert. The wine list runs deep on Italian reds and California cabs; the somm can pre-pair the menu if the host prefers. AV is available for a short toast.
