Steam Plant Restaurant & Brew Pub

The Steam Plant is one of Spokane’s most architecturally distinctive venues — a 1916 industrial steam-generating plant on South Lincoln, the twin smokestacks visible from blocks away, repurposed in the 1990s into a restaurant, brewpub, and event center. The interior keeps the original riveted steel, exposed brickwork, and catwalks intact, which makes it work as both a casual dinner spot and a milestone birthday venue with built-in atmosphere.

For private events, the venue offers a 16-person board room for intimate dinners, a rooftop patio with a bridal suite that handles up to 150 for cocktail-style parties, and additional private spaces of varying capacity. The kitchen handles all catering with a brewpub-leaning menu — burgers, salads, smoker-driven plates — and the on-site brewery pours house beers alongside a full bar.
