Dave & Buster's Omaha

Dave & Buster's at Westroads is the version of D&B that works for both 11-year-old gamer birthdays and 30-something nostalgia parties, which is the venue's whole proposition. The arcade floor is large, mostly redemption and sports games, with a virtual reality bay and a billiards area. Food and drinks come from the kitchen and bar that runs along the perimeter — burgers, wings, flatbreads, full cocktail menu.

Kids' birthday packages start at a 10-guest minimum (Field Goal) or 15-guest (Kick Off Buffet) and run two hours, including a power card with game credits, a meal, and access to a semi-private group area. Adult parties book the same packages without the kid framing, or upgrade to a private space when available. The arcade is loud and lighting is moodier than a kid-only spot, which is fine for tweens and teens but worth knowing if you are bringing a six-year-old. Westroads parking is plentiful, and the building is on the same level as the mall entrance.
