About This Venue
Base Camp opened in 2018 just below the Boise Depot and across Capitol Boulevard from Boise State, and it has become one of the most-booked adult birthday venues in town. The space mixes regulation axe-throwing lanes, ping-pong tables, a full bar with local taps and craft cocktails, and a scratch kitchen running burgers, wings, salads, and shared plates. Coaches handle axe instruction for first-time throwers, which is most of the crowd at any given party.
Birthday parties reserve lanes by the hour with a dedicated coach, and larger groups can semi-buyout a section of the venue including ping-pong tables and a bar zone. Catering packages range from family-style pizza spreads to full plated dinners. The venue's 4 PM weekday opening means private daytime buyouts for milestone events are available too. Minimum age is 21 for the bar area; 13-plus can throw with a parent on site, but realistically this is an adult-party venue.
