Ruffino's Italian Restaurant

Ruffino’s has been the Baton Rouge Italian-steakhouse standard on Highland Road for over two decades, and the private-dining program is among the most flexible in the city for milestone birthdays. Three dedicated rooms — The Vino Room, The Ruffino Room, and The Chianti Room — scale from intimate fifteen-guest dinners up to a 120-person reception, so the same venue works for a quiet fortieth and a large sixtieth.

Pre-fixe and family-style menus are built around the restaurant’s signature Italian-Creole crossovers: veal parmesan, crawfish-stuffed pasta, dry-aged steaks, and house-made gnocchi. The events team coordinates menus, AV for slideshow toasts, and wine pairings; private-dining inquiries route through dedicated coordinator Chelsey Levens at the main number. The dining rooms are warm and finished — dark wood, white linen, soft lighting — which photographs well for milestone events. Reserve three to four weeks ahead for Friday or Saturday evenings, longer during prom and graduation season.
